Assassin's Creed III

I jumped off a cliff like an idiot and died or desynchronized and now I'm stuck in a loop.

I have reloaded old memories, I have left the animus, I have restarted my Xbox and same thing happens when I come back.

I cannot fast travel and since I am not in a mission and just free roaming there is no way for me to reload a check point or restart mission.

I am out of ideas and need help.

Oh and yes I am online so I have the latest patch.

Is there anyway out of this or do I really have to start the game over again?

After I die it keeps reloading. Before I can do anything (move, load map or literally anything) I die where I stand where it reloads me. The loop is I keep dying and I can't do anything to break the loop.

I feel like I need to somehow get Conner to reload anywhere else.

I think you might be screwed.
