Honestly curious.

Please note that it says "best" describes you. I understand it doesn't cover all possibilities. If you do not feel they are accurate enough for you, please abstain.

Important distinction: You can play for the past GAMEPLAY, but still look forward to the present plot. I just don't want people confusing gameplay with plot. I am fairly confident EVERYONE plays for the past gameplay.

I started way back with AC1 the game play was kinda repetitive but story of both past and present storyline interested me. After finishing AC1 i wanted to know more what is Abstergo, what's going to happen to Desmond, and what of Altair? So I play them for both past and present storyline.

For me, the only good thing about the main plot is that it ties everything together and is a good medium in which to show the series from a historic perspective.

In other words: Animus good! Present-day characters bad!

Desmonds sequences are sometimes hairy. I feel like if I trimmed my pubes all over the bathroom floor at work I'd get fired.

I was never really invested in the past storylines before AC3. Not enough gellin'. The dangling carrot of eventually playing as a modern-day assassin was what did it for me.

The payoff in this game wasn't as great as I had expected, but I did enjoy Connor's tale, mostly given all them Bri'ish accents.

Been playing since brotherhood and have never found the present plot as interesting as the past plot.

I play for the present plot, the past plots, and to get to play around in a new time period.
Love is what gives you true strength. Pokemon, Naruto, and Grand Theft Auto taught me that.
