Being able to fire it from the hip sounds awesome, but is it really worth that much XP? I mean, for that much I could unlock a s***load of other stuff. Is it enough of a game-changer to save up XP for it? --- Etrian Odyssey III only has one difficulty, and that difficulty is mother****er. - PA
It's a different style. Better burst than the BXT, but you lose mobility since every shot drains your energy. --- "If you're a Mass Effect fan then you have to be one of the biggest Hippocrates on earth. Have fun." - jnblz316

Seems like they're both very similar. You either stay relatively still and fire down a scope or you have lowered mobility and can shoot outside a scope. So I guess the answer is I'd rather unlock and try the infiltrator class than spend days or weeks saving up XP for a gun that isn't super-special-awesome. --- Subway stole the jingle for my male escort service. http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/8821/maybep.jpg
First thing i did -was- unlock all classes. I prefer having more options, it makes it more fun, and there is nothing that gives you more options than entirely new classes.
And the real point of the phase rifle I thought is that you don't have to -wait- when you spot someone, and a 2nd shot can come quite quickly if not quicker than the original rifle with energy perks. It also has no fall off damage, if I recall correctly.
But you're right, its not a super special awesome weapon. --- http://sfjake.zxq.net/
Yeah, I mean, it sounds like it'd be cool and it'd change how the class plays, but 100k could unlock every other class or close to it, so weighing that against one weapon, it's not really worth it. --- Subway stole the jingle for my male escort service. http://img23.imageshack.us/img23/8821/maybep.jpg
