Is it wrong to love doing this so much?

I try not to play as INF too much, but sneaking up on static heavies is just so fun. Sticky grenade + super punch makes for a heavy firework that nets you a kill, the sticky kill and air mail accolades (200 credits each), and the explosion moves far enough away from you to survive.

It's cheap, but in my defense, they really shouldn't be just standing around.

Sounds pretty funny.
I normally run Close Combat if I'm playing bombardment jug, so I'd at least get a shot off on you before blowing up.

And if you do it to the Doombringers who just sit up somewhere high and try to snipe with the Sabre Launcher, good. They deserve it.

Oh god, especially to them. What does that really get you in a round where people know what they're doing; 1-2 kills tops? Double hilarious if you're the only doombringer on the team (I've seen it at least once).

So long as said actions contribute to your team in some useful way I see nothing wrong with it. Taking out a HoF for a few seconds could improve your flag runners chance of getting in and out alive.

Though I wonder if the Super Heavy perk kinda negate or reduces the effects of the punch.

I've done it to HoF before, and it's a safe assumption that he had super heavy on, but I don't remember any difference in knockback. These situations have mostly come up for me anyway in defending the flagstand from mid-long range bombardiers who come over and start shelling.
