I wish it wasn't released as an XBLA game.

I want it on disc dammit! Plus we'll get more achievements on disc AND there won't be any risks of compression or content being removed to make RE4 downloadable. I know the latter isn't a problem now that there's no restriction on size limit.

Anyone think Capcom will bundle the 2 games eventually or should I just buy them as XBLA games when they come out?

I was coming here to look this up , I was so hoping it would be on a disc. I would so love to get 1000 in RE4. I hope they change their minds and make Resident Evil HD Revival on 2 disc so there is a chance to get 1000 on both games.

same here. I wish it was a disc. I was going to rebuy these games just to play on a modern console with updated graphics, but not if they are download only. I don't have nearly enough free space on my 360's tiny harddrive. And I'm calling it right now - the ps3 versions are going to have that bull**** DRM that Capcom has been putting on their other recent PSN releases (Final Fight and Rearmed 2), and I will not support that at all.

on a related note - is this getting a disc release in japan? all the news i;ve read about when it was first announced seemed like the 2 games were being bundeled together under the name BioHazard: Revival Selection. and there's even a separete message board for in on gamefaqs. I hope the same thing doesnt happen with this that happened with the Prince of Persia Trilogy on ps3, where the US gets screwed over with PSN only releases where europe gets a disc, only have it come out on a disc in the US over a half a year later (glad i didnt waste my money downloading them)

I agree. I like the idea of it being on disc much better, but what can one do? If they do plan to release it on disc (perhaps as some sort of compilation with RE5), then I really hope they intend to announce it soon. Otherwise, I'll be supremely pissed to see that after paying $15 for RE4 on XBLA.

Are you sure there is an no XBL Arcade game limit and this is not a Game on Demand? XBLA games have to be 2GB or less. There is no way a HD version of RE:4 is under 2 GB.

More recent info on size limit for XBLA games:

http://www.leftrightup.com/2010/09/xbox-live-arcade-size-limit-holding.html

I just installed my PC version again and it is 4.61GB, so unless they do some funky compression I can't see this being an Arcade title but a Game on Demand.

I'm pretty sure there's no limit anymore. Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is 2.02GB. That exceeds the limit.

Yeah, you're right, wonder what the deal is then.

Here it is on the PC, I couldn't find the button to shoot lol, need a gamepad. I got it with Dark Messiah: Might and Magic. Cant't wait for HD version been years since I played it on PS2.
