Right now, all that is confirmed is single player with bot allies.

I swear I read that they have confirmed some kind of co-op but they didn't go into what "kind."

But seriously, just put in straight online co-op; no extra mode, no handicaps, etc. and I'll be completely sold on this game. It screams awesome co-op fun.

Such a shame.

Devs really need to get over this co-op phobia. If you design it well, it's not going to detract from any sort of "experience" you would get in single player.
