I'm behind the times; what the blazes is a "kraut"?Also, I agree, them being German has nothing to do with it. Who ever did the review is just inconsistent in their approach.---Fons sapientiae, verbum Dei.

calling someone a kraut is an insult..from way way back..like ww1 way back..

Ah okay.

It's from sauerkraut. The Allies used to say the German soldiers smelled like it and the whole thing spiralled from there.

Gamespot isn't an American site. They have branches and reviewers all over the globe.

Oh okay, nevermind then. Too bad they can't write reviews for good.

That's true. They're not xenophobic. They're just terrible.

Actually just looked at that sites review for Skyrim in which they gave it a 93. And one of the positives was 'Huge Game World' but yet for this game thats a negative.. ok. Also it doesnt list 'No Multiplayer' at all as a negative. Talk about a one sided review.

Is Skyrim built specifically around a party system? Nope, so no need to complain about no multiplayer. Dragon's Dogma is literally built around playing the game with a party of fighters. It's not an unfair expectation that at least one of them would be controllable by another player. Does Skyrim have mounts and an impressive fast-track system to get around quickly? It sure does. Does Dragon's Dogma? Sounds like it doesnt since once of his complaints was that it took too long to get from place to place.

I've seen in the streams that there are fast travel items/portable stones that can be used for fast travel, the game just does not feed you easy fast travel. I think one of the things the developers were shooting for is to give you a feel of truly traveling/treking across the landscape. Starting out on daybreak and reaching camps/your destination before nightfall. Of course this might bug people who are only used to games like Skyrim.

And people that don't want to spend money on a walking simulator.

It's not a walking simulator.

You want a real walking/running simulator, play QWOP.

Keep crying ;_;
