So: PS3 or 360?

#1generalhsPosted 5/20/2012 2:16:23 PM
Now that some folks actually have the game which version is better? Does a hard drive install help the slow loading of NPCs/monsters?

I tried asking on the PS3 board but got nothing but Sony fanboys claiming the screen tearing was even worse than the demo.

the load times when installed on the 360 are basically nothing

the differences is small

whatever console you enjoy better

or whatever one you have more friends on

Really got fanboys? I actually felt the people there acted properly. I went for PS3 version on this one, just because i can't take screen tearing.. at all! :p
I bet you'll be happy whatever you choose. It's not like you can really tell a difference, except screen tearing and frame drops, so choose the one that has the problem that bothers you least. It's not like the FPS drops to unplayable, and the screen taring won't make it unbearable either.

Both look good, both have slight fps issues and screen tearing.

Just go with the controller you prefer to play with.
ie ds3, ps3 version, xbox s, xbox version.

If you want a fair comparison you'll probably need to wait till Digital Foundry get around to it.

Usually it''s a case that multi-plats run better on 360 with a more consistent frame rate but there are of course exceptions.

went with 360 version since almost all multi-plats, not all, run better on 360, plus i want the earlier access to re 6 demo, 2 months before ps3

Now FF 13-2 (360)-DCUO-ps3

How do they run better on 360?

I hope you have some solid facts and this is not just blatant fanboyism.

It's pretty common knowledge that most, not all, multi-platform games run better on 360.
