Just hit level 40 and just realized I could have 4 party members

I had been using 3 the entire game. After trying 4 I think i'll go back to 3 the extra experience has been very nice

do you mean you've only been hiring 1 pawn instead of 2, so it was you your main pawn and a single rented.

Unless the game allows you to recruit 4 pawns later in the game, I think you're confusing yourself and us.

As far as I've tried, you're only allowed to have 3 pawns. Your main pawn and 2 support pawns. If you try to get a 4th pawn, it'll ask you which pawn you want to replace.

As far as I remember, you don't lose experience when you have more pawns out. Max is three pawns, one main and two hired.

I think what the TC means is that he has been only hiring only one pawn, not two from the rift this whole time, at least that's what believe he means.

Yes to be clear, I meant i've been hiring 1 pawn the entire game. It's really paid off too judging by the quest progression i'm a bit overleveled.
