How is Dogma hard? I'm a Ranger so I guess bows just make this game easy mode, I have literally laughed in everythings face. While in Witcher every fight could be the last, even against mediocre enemies.
YRDEN ftw

Clearly trolling, no one even said it was hard.

Clearly trying to troll me. Call it reading failure but I took, "Dogma has better combat" as meaning it's harder. Witcher's combat is a lot better IMO with the spells.

You get 3 pawns to act as meatshields.... if they fall down you just run up and revive them and the monster proceeds to beat the h*** out of them again. In Witcher EVERYTHING just swarms you.

Your point? 90% of the enemies in the Witcher dropped like flies. Boss fights were the most challenging things about the game.

Play on Dark.

Yes. The hardest difficulty is going to be hard. I guess you've won.

what are you talking about, even the normal enemies on normal can be pretty difficult your first time playing, especially if you aren't using throwable items and traps lol

What do you expect, this topic is in the Dogma board.

This would make more sense if there were fanboy responses.

I own both of them as well. The witcher 2 is much harder than dragons dogma, and while the fighting system is still fun it's very punishing. However the story is pretty good as well and it has some of replay value.

Dragons Dogma has some really fun combat and the class systems are pretty fun to play around with. That said the game gets pretty easy after awhile, with a few select challenging parts. Also the story line is really really blah.

Which one you like more will really come down to taste.

If you like gruelling combat and good story with tough choices, go with The Witcher 2.

If you like entertaining boss fights, in depth character customization, and varied classes get Dragons Dogma.

Lol what are considered "challenging" parts in Dogma? Like when I killed the drake it took bout 40 minutes and thousands of arrows. The fight itself was not hard, I just shot a lot of arrows over 40 minutes. But maybe that's what you call challenging, I call that boring. Witcher gives you that satisfaction of dying a couple times then finally going, "Hm, maybe if I put a trap here and another here, maybe throw a bomb..." then all of a sudden when the fight begins and you see your plan play out exactly as you planned it's beautiful. Then you go, "I'M THE WITCHER B****!!!" Oh, and your character talks, big + for me.

I know this sounds fanboy but really if you're saying DD > Witcher you've not played both games. Witcher is so much more polished than this game. Thnis is the first game in a long time, especially an "RPG" that I've just sat around watching my kid nephew play, and keep in mind you only get ONE save file. That being said there's no way I would ever let him play Witcher, even to reload the save, cause I would just be like, "You're just gonna die and get mad at this game (keep in mind he has thrown one of my controller's against the wal)" And this isn't like Fallout or TES where I can save the game and go, "Hey, knock yourself out kid!"
