i do not like that shield drum move i feel like pawns spam the living hell out of it.
What do you guys expect to see in a great fighter pawn? i think she may be a better fighter stat wise as well. --- GT:MysticalTyphoon Pawn:Typhoon Lv200 Fighter/Ranger, Challenger/Mitigator. 3DS FC:2793-1128-6229
The problem with giving pawns too many skills is the same as giving a Mage/Sorcerer multiple affinity spells. They will use the wrong one at the wrong time. With shield skills, they tend to favour them over sword skills, for the most part. So rather than mutilating something with Dragon's Maw, they will hunker behind their shield and toss off a couple ineffective pokes. --- Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Cthulhu R'lyeh wgah'nagl fhtagn.
I like Sheltered Assault, but it's the only shield skill I use. I've seen my pawn miss with the Shield Storm moves, but he pretty much never misses with Burst Strike. The other two I use are Full Moon Slash and Dragon's Maw. I'm using the same two inclinations as you are, and it results in a pleasingly-aggressive pawn. --- GT: Blue Cresh / Pawn: Allie (Mage) Alt: Maegolin / Pawn: Lady Frost (Sorcerer/Mage)
Dragon's Maw also has autoguard thoughout, so it would be possible to fight completely without a shield while using it, but pawns aren't very good at using it. --- --- Dragon's Dogma. GT: Pallokala / GT2: OverdoneFever1
