Thanks for the input on Death, guys! Loaded with boosters now (i got a high damage output myself and have killed him already also, but often that does not really help when it comes to pawns), but guess in some situations, narrow locations, stairways, i wil lgo with godsbane or liftstones... like Sunesha said, send pawns back from here dead pretty much sucks.

There is no reason why pawns need ever die when facing Death. I haven't lost one to him in a very long time, and I always fight him when he appears.

When he first appears, take a Sobering Wine so that the entire team becomes impervious to all debilitations (for 90 seconds), including his sleep attacks. Just hit him hard and continuously. Shoot, move... shoot, move... shoot, move. He will focus his attention to you, teleport to your location, and focus his attacks on you... not your pawns. As long as your Arisen stays mobile and aggressive, Death will not attack your pawns, or complete an attack on your Arisen.

Is it true that removing the lanterns of your pawns also helps keep him away from them? I haven't tried Death hunting yet, just wondering.

Supposedly yes, but I've never noticed it because when I fight Death, all of his attention is focused on my Arisen because of my chosen tactics against him. As I said above, I don't lose pawns to Death because of those tactics.

Got it. So removing them won't be necessary if I play my cards right. Thanks!

It's best to hit Death your best attacks. If you're doing enough damage, he will totally forget the pawns and focus on you.

It is defeat that you must learn to prepare for. http://i1309.photobucket.com/albums/s637/a-zajame/201_zps420736b5.jpg

Yeah, I used to run away from Death all the time out of concern for my pawns, but now I send them to attack him just to get him down quicker. He's a great example of an enemy that becomes easier with experience.
