To many people talking and running around, to much flashy flashy. It didn't feel satisfying. I love how shadow of the colossus played. When you made a stab into a giant beast in sotc it felt like you were really going into flesh. You could feel the damage you were doing. With DD I didn't get that. Maybe I'll give it another shot. I really wanted to like this game but as it stands I'm not planning on purchasing it anymore. |

GrowshroomPosted 4/27/2012 8:51:07 PM | I suggest going to the options and turn off some of the HUD elements. I personally deactivated the minimap, pawn dialog display, and the cinematic camera. That made the game screen less of a cluster-**** right off the bat,
In addition, try retrying the Prologue sequence without your pawns present. Throw the first one off the cliff behind you at the start, then don't activate the rift stone to get the others. Without the overpowered pawns there, you'll be able to play with the enemy encounters a little more and get a feel for the combat.
Also, the second part of the demo might be more to your liking. Even though the Griffin can be ended in less than 2 minutes by the OP pawns, the wider scenario allows you to feel out more of the game's unique features.

Sorry for continuing the joke post but on a more serious note OP try to solo everything or just go with one of the member by killing the others by grabbing them and throwing them off the cliff, in the demo your too overpowered for the chimera with a group of level 20. |
