So if I get high affinity with shopkeepers (giving them gifts)..they will stock better items and equips? Which shopkeeper should I focus on getting high affinity with then? Thanks.

I would like to know this too.

Also, I haven't experimented with gift giving yet. Is there a way to find out how much a person likes your gift?

Dunno about reduced prices ... but some shopkeepers WILL put new things on the market if they like you enough, and you are at or past the relevant stage of the game - not all items come available at the same time normally, the same is true of items available from gifting.

So I can just simply get high affinity with all the shop keepers to get all their rare items right?

No, many unlock via story progression and there are also the idol unlocks.

Look in the "How to get" section for swords or daggers and you'll see what I mean.

is it possible to raise shopkeep affinity by doing repeated single transactions? Similar to getting Reynard to prompt his quests?
