Bingo. I'm about to start exploring every nook and cranny in the game. I found a few more cursed idols not listed in the Wiki site, so I'm anxious as to what else I'll find!

I'd say right now, I've got all my equipment/pawn equipment where I want it. I don't even pick up items much anymore, but I've still got a ways to go until I'm Level 200.

And still playing are nuts. I hope you realise this. I'll see you all again when expansion comes out but until then- you're all crazy. What do you see in this game? What is there left to do? What do you fight?

Cause MH is boring.. and new game looks worse then Ps2 MH1.
Granted graphics arn't everything.
waiting for a console one.

Really, Dark Souls, MHP3rd HD, Dragon Dogma, Skyrim, MW3, LP2, Demon souls are all on my play list next to flying hamster.

I just started NG+ today after farming the Everfall for all items. I still lack an online Ur kill, so that goal looms large for me. Along the way to NG+, I gave my Arisen a sex-change, mainly to DF female gear, and now she's some serious eye candy...way better looking than my pawn. She looks like Amanda Seyfried, but with more luscious, pouty lips. I may clone my pawn to look like her and try running twins, mainly just to show her off.

That said, there's a lot left to play for, mainly because it isn't boring trying to get 100% completion.

I must be REALLY crazy to have eight accounts to play this on then! @_@

I didn't stop entirely even with playing RE6, and none of these eight are up to 200 yet, but I plan on doing just that some day. Plus, the builds each account have are important to me - I am trying to get them styled exactly how I want them by meticulously leveling them up to get the most out of the precise stat increases. Predicting their stat growth and placing the appropriate vocations on them to gain the best possible increase are the good things to me. If it gets a little tedious now and then, then all I have to do is just play something else for a while (especially since I have a truck-load of games I've not finished before) and come back.....

Like recently with beating RE6 several times since release.

Interesting. What in particular about these activities do you find not to be monotonous though? I guess another way to phrase the question would be: Do you forsee there being a shelf-life to your current activities in the game since it's novelty hasn't worn off for you yet?

Densetsu, I realise you've given up ever having the loving touch of another human being by committing yourself so fully to being the best Pawnemon Master around. Do you hope, just a little, that you don't get there? Even while the goal is a massive one indeed, don't you feel that farming for the rewards for other players to be an incredibly boring series of events that culminates in micro-gains for yourself?

The issue I'm seeing here is there is very measurable outcomes here. It's not a patrol; it's an exploration. The issue I'm seeing is that because of the definable outcomes there lacks the substance for replay. I'm not saying there is a right or wrong way to be here; I'm just trying to fully understand the concepts and details which brings people back. There is a fundamental difference between replaying outcomes and achieving outcomes. What I've seen so far is people playing to achieve the outcomes rather than replay them.

Community has been mentioned as a reason and I can understand that- good people exponentially increases a game's shelf life. However there is no direct interaction with them in-game. Is it then the good people of this board rather than the game itself which keeps (these) people playing?
