planning to make a new character need tips for Arisen and Pawn.

I restarted my Main, It was so frustrating to play BBI with such a weak Arisen and pawn, my supports were doing so much better than I was and I just kept dying. This was also pre daimon and at level 160. So I just figured whatever I'll make a new one.

I'm planning to build my Arisen as a Strider and my Pawn as a Strider also.
What would be the best leveling path if I want to be a strider that is good with a bow but better up close? I also plan to equip pure STR weapons instead of the enchanted gear. (is this a good idea?)

For my Pawn, I want him to use a rusted bow to debilitate and with the volley skill I think that is perfect for a pawn. I think I could have him use the elemental daggers and I also want him up close and personal to help my Arisen. what leveling path do I use?

also,

p.s.
I plan to stop caring about my level up stats once I reach level 150 and I plan to just enjoy the game at that time. So min/max is good but I will probably stop at 150.

thank you for all the help!

If you prefer to do most of your leveling as bow users you could try something like this...
http://www.frontiernet.net/~gt_dragoon/Dogma/ss.png

HP: 3150
Stamina: 4800
Strength: 706
Magic: 358
Defense: 387
Magic Defense: 318

Starting Class:
Fighter

levels 2 - 10:
9 Fighter

levels 11 - 100:
50 Ranger
40 Assassin

levels 101 - 200:
50 Strider
50 Ranger

One of my arisens has a similar build. It doesn't have to be followed to the letter, a level off here or there doesn't make a lot of difference.

Pawns are another matter. If you and your pawn want to spend your last 50 levels as Striders, your pawn will need more Warrior levels to increase strength

HP: 4516
Stamina: 3440
Strength: 700
Magic: 324
Defense: 461
Magic Defense: 284

Starting Class:
Fighter

levels 2 - 10:
9 Fighter

levels 11 - 100:
74 Warrior
16 Ranger

levels 101 - 200:
50 Strider
50 Ranger
