LOL A lot of great games have been announced.

BTW Do you want DD franchise to be annualized? :))

LOL A lot of great games have been announced.

None as great as DD, most likely. The most exciting part of E3 for me has been Mega Sableye and Swampert, honestly. They look rad.

BTW Do you want DD franchise to be annualized? :))

Naaaah, but... I mean, the original was mid 2012, and Dark Arisen was early 2013, so I'd at least like an announcement for a late/mid 2015 release pretty soon. I know Deep Down was maybe hinted at as being the spiritual successor to Dragon Dogs, but they didn't mention that at E3 either. It's just kind of a bummer, because after SFIV and Bayonetta, this was my favorite game of the last generation by a whole lot.

Oh I got you. Yeah no news from Capcom yet. I watched Deep Down and didnt like its gameplay, especially the camera.

While waiting for Bloodborne and DD2 I'll play Inquisition. LOL

I'm always torn when I see Deep Down. The over the shoulder camera seems odd, but it looks like you have to actually aim you jabs into weak spots, which could be really cool. The environments look naff but their new engine is doing stuff with magic and fire that makes Dragons Dogma look silly, even though the magic in that game is a revolution to a lot of fans.
You've got allies throwing whirlwinds at a dragon so it dissipates its fiery breathe, which flows like nothing I've ever seen before.

I look at the engine they've made and I can't help but see everything I love about Dragons Dogma, turned up to 11. I just don't imagine them making a really compelling experience out of procedurally generated f2p, but there are great f2p games.

Dragon's Dogma 2 will always remain my most anticipated game, until it comes out though.

I just watched the Deep Down trailer.
It looks rad, it looks like a pretty good spiritual successor, but I want an actual sequel much more.
The F2P concerns me because this is literally Capcom.
