Dead Rising 2: Off the Record

I searched but could not find an answer to this. I know using this disables achievements and saving. What about the "cheats" that do not effect game play like the various filters because I have an abundance of MS points and I'd like to play the game in Grindhouse filter but I'm not going to bother if I can't save / get achievements.

Wow, that's... absurd. You'd think they'd fix an oversight like that. I can see barring achievements from beneficial cheats, but a filter change? Oh well, thank you for that I'll save my MS points for something else.

When you're paying real money for cheat codes, being unable to unlock the achievements is an absurd notion, especially since the achievements are easy enough to earn on their own if you play with a friend. Unless it's a stupid one that isn't explained properly like purewal memorial cup.

How is that explained poorly? Don't eat/drink any meat, dairy, or alcohol until the military shows up at the end of story mode.

I've heard cases of many people drinking nothing but orange juice and apples and not getting it (this shows up in one of the FAQs for the game written here), I've also heard that if you let a friend in your game and they eat something it also counts against you. Also, it's never explained that you have to finish the cases. All in all, it's a fun idea but it's too vague. Therefore I stand by my statement that it's stupid compared to the other achievements
