So the game is based off on another universe...That explains everything.

Yep.

Besides, the good ending from the first game didn't really leave that much room for continuity...

When's GameFaqs going to join the 21'st century and have clickable links?

Anyway, the review makes the game seem like it's going to be great! Better than Neptunia 1 which was still awesome despite it's shotcomings.

Neptune 2 and Agarest War 2 are the of the most improved games CH created imho, compared to the normal recycled stuff they pretty much do (Cross Edge to Trinity Universe to Neptune1. Agarest 1 to Agarest Zero).

Agarest War 2's battle system is a combination of Agarest + Cross Edge which is amazingly fun (I LOVE IT) and the overall system is better than Agarest 1 and Zero. The sprites in the battle system is amazing, very well animated and beautiful to look at (compared to their other games). Music is just as good too (loved Agarest music).

Instead of using "event points" like normally, you progress the storyline by gaining Limit Points (which unlocks new events) so you can actually take your time and do whatever you want to do, whether to get new equipments, new skills and more.

Neptune 2, battle system is a huge changed compared to Neptune 1.. much more improved and fun. You can't mindless gun-ho as positioning and how you attack can give you an advantage or disadvantage. Share system is a huge makeover and its much more easier to read and understand how it works (unlike Neptune 1's really confusing share system). The new characters are just adorable (especially ROM) and a welcome addition to the Neptune family (love all the cast).

I thought Neptune 2 would use the 2D-system for their dialogues in a much improved manner (like Agarest 2 but much more improved), but I was surprised they used 3D-system characters instead. While the looks are unrefined, it works really well and better animated than the 2D counterpart (where you just see their chest move up and down.. especially the ladies). With a much more refined and detailed fix for future game releases, I think it will be awesome!

Overall, if CH can keep improving like how they did with Agarest 2 and Neptune 2, I can't wait to see what will happen in the future!

agreed, Master LL. Personally, I only miss the dungeons of the first Agarest, not that couple of battles in zero and 2. But I do love the battle system of A2 too. Arcan'ciel FTW! XD

Both, Agarest 2 and Mk2 are incredible in content balance. I felt sad after the platinum for Agarest 2, and taking my time to get Mk2's XD.

Want a daughter like Rom *_*
