List your ideas/wishes for a possible "Mk3". Depending, we can send this topic for CH =P.
-"Hyperdimension Neptunia 3.0"
-Direct sequel from Mk2, few years after the true ending
-Now the little sisters are the hearts, and the old hearts renamed "vintage"
-No more Magiquone. Main villain is a group of famous crackers. In the future, Magiquone awoke again, but these group sealed the evil god before the heroines even notice the happening. This made the group gain respect from people, but nobory knows why they sealed instead of defeat the god - to decode its powers and turn the group into the most powerful organization in Game Industry.
- Villains can transform into goddess form and use the same powers, because they decoded all the heroines (this explains why they were able to seal Magiquone)
-Two more characters: A genius hacker from Lastation (Vita) and a powerful space-time wizard from Lowee (3DS). These two are key persons to plot and gameplay.
-The group need to stop the cracker group progress breaking their hacking spots and researches, entering in a binary world with Vita's help, and solving things physically with 3DS' illusion magic. With this combination, they can enter in virtual world and do things like real world.
-Also, NepxNep party need to regain (again) the share lost for the bad guys.
-More things to do in dungeons (mini-puzzles, mazes, doors/keys/swithces).
-Cities can be visited "physically", no more just menus.
-World Map like Agarest 2.

You've just described a common gaming staple in the Japanese market: The galge.
Didn't the Idolmaster reference event at 5pb's concert in Leanbox give you an idea of the backlash that might cause?
Confirmed or ambiguous, nobody wants any major male presences in fanservice titles. Passing ones are fine though.
Let them come, Vert's only intention will be to use Obsidian and Bioware's male side as yaoi pandering and Chika's going to enjoy using the girl side as her yuri fodder.
It's better than treating the male character as fighting props. Or in Agarest, Fighting Props who breed. --- "I kill people like you on the way to real problems. Although in 30 minutes, the galaxy is at stake and you should fix the problem yourself" Shepard
Dudes have been fighting props in RPGs since time immemorial. Agarest gave them a secondary purpose, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.
Also, Chika pretty much only has eyes for Vert, so the girl-toy thing might not be feasible.
You should never underestimate the single-minded obsession some GL-inclined characters have... just look at Railgun's Kuroko... --- http://momoiro-rakuen.blogspot.com/ http://game-time-kouryaku.blogspot.com/
