I do association and the opposing AI uses up and under moves on almost ever drive. They are near impossible to defend. They either get your entire team in the air, pause and his the open layup. Or they draw a foul.
I would say I successfuly defend it 2 out of every 10 tries. Does anyone have any solid strategy against this?

Don't let them run all over the baseline like they own it. Can't up and under if you can't get to the rim.
It isnt an oversight--the AI is just exploiting the he'll out of you like any team would.

Yea just play on ball with the cpu and dont jump in the air until the ball leaves his hands. You dont even have to jump at all, just put your hands up and youll defend it. --- Die Hard Knicks Fan Still believin

And if you jump push the left stick away from the cpu instead of towards it, lowers chance of getting called for a foul and you'll still defend it well if you're close enough, especially if the defender has good vertical --- Die Hard Knicks Fan Still believin
