As a true need for speed fan i have to say This game is ubber garbage, way more worse than pro street & does not worth getting & IGN give it less rating than PRo street, i returned my copy & I'm happy to stick with Forza 4

RETURN it. This game is utter trash!!!!!!! Handling controls sucks, tracks are repetitive, no balancing in the cars, and hardly no freedom whatsoever (changing cars at will, no free roam, no customization, and limited cars used in story and story sucks).

This game is trying to mix in a little hot pursuit, with some FAILED Burnout crashing, and "make up time" events are piss poor and stupid.

I wish Black Box NEVER touch a NFS game ever again.

A lot of people whining on here.

It's pretty simple. The game is good, pretty great actually....So if you like fun games no matter the length, then keep it....I'm VERY HAPPY with the purchase, I definitely got my money's worth....I can say with full confidence the people that are badmouthing the game are just mad that they overpaid. which is their fault. Don't let them sway your decision just because they're jealous of your good buying skills.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. The trick when deciding whether to buy a game based on someone else's opinion - a review basically - is to factor in several opinions, and see which carry more weight and a general consensus. General consensus dictates that this game is not good. I didn't have one second of "fun" with the demo or the finished version when I finally rented it. (I rented it for two bucks, so you can't say I overpaid for anything. Then again, that's two bucks I could have used for gas or lottery tickets.)

This isn't "whining" or "bad-mouthing", just a counter-opinion to yours. I love racing games from Mario Kart to Hot Pursuit to Gran Turismo. And I hated this game.

Look, basically it ain't your standard NFS but it is good. The racing is tense, the tracks are really good, exciting, twisty and turny and the lighting is beautiful. It helps to draw you into the game.

I ended up hitting the walls and corners because the sun was in my face. Tracks are mostly the same with different seasons, except for the city tracks in stage 9 (i think) that had like 6 lanes, at least that was decent. The 2 lane highway BS with loads of traffic was Failed.

The fact that the game automatically resets you if you drive off track just a wheel is stupid beyond beliefs. A POS Ford Focus outrunning a Lamborghini? Only in your piss poor game Black Box.

This game is broken in all aspect and lackluster, I was trying to return it at Best Buy yesterday but couldn't because California laws prohibits returning software or whatnot and because Best Buy is a b**** when it comes to returning product. I'm selling the game on Craigslist or amazon and hopefully I get my money back.
