Mission complete possible?

On the third mission early in the game when you have to kill this level 17 monster that looks like an eye. Don't see a way to kill it. my attacks are useless. Is it possible to get the complete without leveling like crazy and killing it before the girl comes ?

I think you have two choices-either keep out the way and let Remus do his stuff, or do like I did and power up to around level 12 and join in the fight until the girl turns up or you kill it yourself.

Not really worth it trying to get to a high level to beat it, I managed to do it at level 5 with the best rings in a game (NG+) and I was overleveled for the next mission or so.

Can't imagine how screwed up you'll be if you indeed grind to lvl 12 for it.

it's possible.
grinding until level 9.
I've already tried it and got mission complete.

now I'm at mission 31, and always got mission complete. it's not that hard.

Care to share your strategy? It's got quite a bit of HP, cant kill it before the girl comes

There is no strategy for this battle. Though I did notice that you can delay Regina's arrival by not getting hit. Too bad you can't run Crevan around in circles and stall since it has ranged attacks. If you're willing to save scum, you can reset till all its hits are blocked I suppose.
