So i finished the game, got dame silverline ending and nowhere was explained who the villian is, so any ideas on who he is?

afair, there was a line about vester being a "darkness from 2k years ago"

if there are angels... there are demons.
I came to think that since Akyel existed, an opposite had to exist as well.
balance must always be maintained.
one of those laws where everything must equal out.

Eh aikiel and uriel arent angels, i assume you have reached the projector part, they are both familiars sent from several years of the future.

yeah I know that.. but you should put spoiler alert....
I figured I didnt have to on my post since everyone who got past the prologue knows Vester and the "angels"
I was simply implying that he could just be the opposite of the equation.
or maybe the accumulation of some sort of weird reverse/negative familiar.
I dont see any post above mine with a better case >.>

Not much is said of his true nature, since he doesn't tell anything, and when his true form appears, it's gameover for the world, but he appears to be the master of the 'Netherworld' a reality of darkness where he reigns.

His objective is to take over Crev's world and reshape it to his will (more lightless world, I guess) and he needed a really big gate for that, to be able to pass. If the modified route's final battle showed Vester's true form, it was a mass of darkness, with a decayed skull and some heart-like organs, both with tentacles.

The angels where 100% astral familiars, able to do time travel and with some sort of natural advantage against Vester (more or less like the sealing medallion, maybe both were created with the same purpose)

I seem to recall Meline called ester the darkness of the underworld when I brought her along to the final battle, so that is what I am going with. He is the living embodiment of the darkness in a realm completely cloaked in darkness.

The game narrative does leave more questions than answers regarding Vester.

I.e. It is implied that he can time travel as well when your fighting him in the modified route. So probably he was able to sneak in alongside the angels from the future, but even this leaves questions on why he is the way he is.

Lord of "Demons"(Summoned beings),i mean really.....all of the summoned beings had demon in their names,and also in modified route frayne(i you got her in your party) will say that vester are the "Darkness" from angel's memories when he transform to scorpion-like form
