Somehow no, it's still alive and kicking.

One thing though is that alot of the regulars have found groups now, so jumping in solo with randoms against a full communicating team can be really frustrating. Playing without my friends usually ends with a string a profanity at the TV :P

You'd absolutely hate League of Legends then.

^^ Never played that or HaN, but I'd heard that the community is... pretty picky about what you do, and take it pretty seriously. I can understand that I suppose, when you play alot and get pretty good patience for newbies gets thin.

There's that, and players who have a good 800+ wins still play like they just installed the game for the first time. Just a terrible community in general, makes Awesomenauts look like a holy choir.

yeah, every time i play one team or the other winds up dominating. either i get some friends online or i wind up with 2 other randoms i just click with. having noobs for teammates is really frustrating now that the player base has dwindled, especially when the other team "just clicks" or is a co-op crew.

if i wind up on the not dominating side i wind up putting the game down after a few matches (often the last on my team. 2 ais vs 3 people with good teamwork is just not fun). if i wind up on the dominating side, the opposite happens. the other team just quits, and even randoms jumping in just start quitting after a while, and playing an all bot team is no fun. :\

even though theres still a good amount of people who play, getting two good teams to go at it is very uncommon now, in my experience.

Agreed with hauntbot.

Every once in awhile you get some good mixed teams. I don't think there is a TruSkill or anything working in the background to kind of balance out teams. They don't even do it by prestige rank or leaderboard rank, at least it doesn't seem like it.

After the initial addiction of a MOBA on a console wears offs, you'll probably just play a couple games until you get frustrated by noobs on your team then switch to something else for awhile. Nothing worse than having two teammates going 0-10, that just keep feeding the other team... Apparently they needed a tutorial to explain to players what "feeding" is and to NOT do it.
