3rd party trailers were either 360/Ps3 footage, not ports, just footage running on other systems. BF3 was most likely PC footage.
The have no footage of their system, and if they did, it would have been from a 1st party game, 3rd party devs only got kits(reportedly) 2-5 months ago.
tech demos run in real time, so though it may not be an actual game being made, it was definitely a demo of the capabilities. But it didn't look as impressive as the Japanese garden video, the water effects, the lighting, the amount of detail, that was insane.
I agree that the Japanese Garden was really impressive. I was just clearing out some out some of the other stuff. |

You should bear in mind that tech demos are rarely indicators of the quality of graphics you'll see in actual games.
Take the current furore over the downgrade MGS 3DS's graphics appeared to have undergone after the original tech demo.
What downgrade? It looks exactly the same if not better. The tech demo was a real time camera that moved around the gameplay.

And lol at WikedsDerp bringing up the PC. That's actually what I play games on mostly. I'm just not a fanboy and don't bring it up on console forums to troll.
The fact is, 360 and PS3 are both "powerhouses" compared to Wii. Compared to Wii U, they may or may not be equivalent. Based on what we've seen, I'd estimate that the Wii U is to the PS3 like the PS2 is to the GameCube - inferior, but not in a significant way. |
