I hope the wii U is 50x stronger than the 360 or ps3

That's the computational strength of going from a ps2 to a ps3. It's literally 50x stronger

If wii U wants to not lag behind sony, or microsoft's next gen console, they should have an output of atleast 50x stronger than the 360 or ps3.

I don't want developers to stop developing when the next sony or microsoft consoles come out due to wii not being computationally stronger than the other next gen consoles.

so you want the wii-u to be incredibly hard to develop for, so it's a serious risk and the innovations of videogames declines greatly?

I have a feeling it won't be judging from tech demos and the comment in that last interview. I am sure it will be stronger though but probably not by that much.

You...you know that's an unfair comparison?

PS2 was the weakest console by far of it's generation. Going from the weakest to the strongest is like...going from...

A toy sword to a machete.

Going from the Strongest (PS3) and raising it exponentially...it's illogical, and can't be done. Can't.

It's like...going from a machete (best of it's time), to a friggin double sided lightsaber that dispenses candy.

Your logic is flawed.

I thought technology was rapidly increasing at an exponential rate? Just look at the advancements in technology today vs 6 years ago. Well we might have to look at military research and development or academic papers to really grasp how much we've come forwards but it's definitely there.

And to you Wii U people, what do you think is a reasonable strength for this console? How much more stronger should it be compared to the 360 or ps3?

It's not just like X stronger. It doesn't work like that.

lol why wouldn't it be the zelda demo was superior to anything that ive seen on ps3/xbox.
