I hope Nintnedo launches the Wii U

with
Pikmin 3
Zelda TP HD (with new areas of course)
New Super Mario Bros. Mii
New Metroid
Darksiders II
and 10 random 3rd party games (that does not mean shovelware)
and the system s bundeled with Catch Mii

As cool as the 3ds is it's launch lineup was........... forgetable. I hope this time around if Nintendo shows off a really cool game (at TGS or the next E3) they have plans of it being available at launch.

Thoughts?

No way in hell would they release all that at once. Do you really want people to then whine that there's nothing else for the rest of the year or the year after? Not to mention that not everyone could get all those games at the same time.

there's no way we're going to see pikmin 3, mario, zelda, and metroid all with launch. But as long as we get at least one of those, and proof that the other one's are in developement.... i'll be happy.

lmao at thinking any company, let alone a first party company, would release a new entry in four of its main series on launch day. This doesn't make sense financially for any gaming company under any circumstances, and has never happened in the history of gaming. They don't want their own games competing with themselves.

Pikmin 3 is probably the only realistic release title, as that has been in production for a few years already and was supposed to launch this year for the Wii (very TP-esque). Also, Nintendo is apparently trying to get back third party support by allowing them to release their big titles before Nintendo does, rather than having to compete with unstoppable Nintendo titles from day one (which is exactly what they did with the 3DS).

*Everyone buys NSMB and/or Zelda as launch titles.*

*Everyone wants more titles to buy 3 months later.*

*Nintendo points at the amazing launch.*

*Gamers cry and complain that they are old games already.*
