Leaving aside, for the moment, the fact that plenty of Zelda fans are under 18, why would we want a Zelda game with an M-rating?

What in God's name.....

Why would you WANT that?
It sure would be fun to be Kirk. I'd Judo chop and ask questions later.

Hmm. Ramp up the blood and dismemberment, and make Navi into a snarling, snaggle-toothed Attack Fairy. I don't think they'd need to do much else if it was graphic enough in the violence department.

But no, it'll never happen and there's no reason to. Wouldn't add anything to the game.

Blood and dismemberment would be cool, it would be nice to see when your attacking something it getting hurt, or a limb falling off that it cant use.....but no the Legend of Zelda will never ever be rated M. Guaranteed.

What next, an AO-rated Mario game? He saves Peach and she puts out?

Though it definitely happened at the end of Paper Mario. Just look at that romantic scene with the fireworks going off, and tell me they didn't slip inside after the screen faded to black. But they certainly weren't going to show it "on camera" as it were.

Most M-rated games are actually pretty immature. Blood, senseless violence, swearing, and sex? No thanks.

Zelda is better off as a E-T series.
