I Thought it was time to bring this up it seems worthy of disccusion

Before all the community jump on me and squeeze a coin of my ass id like to say something

with its proposed advance gpu and online games ive only seen ghost recon so far but do you think nintendo would charge money as this really it its first online servers unless im dumb and unless your counting the 64 dd online features

and if they were would would there price point be 10 - 15 dollars im okay with this but for me and alot of others that have xbox would this be a problem and considering its only a month id be happy with it because it means more for the gamers

but yes this is my 2 cents wether you like it or hate it this discussion if its ignored now it will eventualy rear its head

If you're gonna try to get a discussion going, why not at least attempt to make your post readable? It's a mess, but I'll try.

Nintendo won't charge for online, they wouldn't dare.

Nintendo won't charge for online. Each developer will be responsible for their own online, like the PC.

I refuse to go online when it's free, let alone pay for it. Online gaming has taken so much away from singleplayer and local multiplayer. The difference is that the singleplayer and local mp modes are up forever whereas online mp goes down in a few years (usually less). Having pay online means that online will be a bigger focus of the console and Nintendo will try to shove it down people's throats like they do everything else of theirs, so I am definitely against pay online.

The features are overrated for someone like me. I play games years and even decades later and try to keep the ones I like. Online provides temporal fun which is not something I am interested in, having features increase that fun (e.g. party chat) is nice but the more focus that is devoted to online, the less important the offline modes become. To me it's not a tradeoff worth making.

Support PHYSICAL (not digital) distribution, and keep control of games in the hands of customers. Also, buy the game NIER. It may not be perfect but the music..

The way Ubi was making it sound with Recon Online as a service, it sounds like they will find a way to charge people who play it either by pay to play or pay for upgrades; however, Nintendo has been shy to the idea of asking money for access to the internet.

I doubt Nintendo will focus very heavily on online, because all of their main IP's are single player and will most likely let 3rd parties develop their own online foundation for each game specifically.
