I started on platfromers too but guess waht i moved on from platformers. why because i realised how short they are maybe some day they'll make a paltforming game that takes more then 10 hours tops to complete(not counting 100% run as i just usally just ignore them even if i didnt it still wouldnt be as long as an rpg or a zelda game) so now i usally play rpgs for the length and that fact they rely on brain power not twitch reflexes.
Again, I'm not seeing your point. You seem to be switching topics on me. |
SMASHKING84Posted 8/1/2011 5:07:31 PM | the point im making is just because you started playing platformers doesn't mean you should only be intreated in them --- Twilight Princess is the best zelda people who agree:33 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kpaXnL9t4s0 |

Again, we're going off on a tangent.
My original point was that I was NEVER a part of the mini-game/pet sim/music/ pick up and play demographic. I only brought up the fact I started gaming with platformers to illustrate that point. I never suggested that Nintendo should only make platformers. |

1stbasemanbeckPosted 8/2/2011 8:26:11 PM | I don't want Nintendo to go out of business. But I do want them to be knocked down a peg or two. "Failure" may be too strong a word but I want Nintendo to flounder with the Wii U. Why? Because being in first place with the Wii brought nothing but arrogance and laziness. PSP is the most recent example, but it is actually better for gamers when companies don't do as well, because more games can come out.
As for why I'd want Nintendo franchises on my PS3, it is not so much brand loyalty (I bought GC over PS2 last gen) as much as it is I am so over gimmicks. It is hard to name a Nintendo first party game that didn't require some sort of motion in it, but it is easy to think of plenty that didn't need it. If Nintendo was software-only, they would have to innovate in the games (something they used to do quite well, imo) rather than making a new controller for the same games. --- Support PHYSICAL (not digital) distribution, and keep control of games in the hands of customers. Also, buy the game NIER. It may not be perfect but the music.. |
