Checkers/Chess WiiU

Wouldn't it be awesome if someone released a chess/checkers game for the WiiU :D
And I'm talking about one where the pieces are like the Skylanders toys :)

You put them on the U-pad and move them from there!
When you move them, a cutscene happens on the big screen!

During chess, you have a chess board on the tablet, and on the TV, you have a medieval world that follows the game!
When your knight beats that whatever, you see it running through the woods, and killing him ;)

They should also do a Pokemon Stadium U!
Just like Skylanders, but with the pokemon cards you buy in stores :D

When you place them on the tablet, they pop up on TV!
You then click the screen, and select a command :)

wii U's touch screen wouldn't be able to do any of that. Partly because it isn't multitouch, and also because it only detects a single point of pressure, as opposed to unique IDs that game pieces/cards would have to differentiate themselves. Also that sounds like an extravagantly overpriced way to play chess.

Oh yah :/
Wait...but what about that NFC thing they just talked about?
Nevermind, that probably wouldn't work either LOL

I guess theoretically you could scan pokemon cards in with the WiiU's camera and then the cards would appear on your controller, while the animated battlefield happens on the tv screen, but even that would have some kinks to work out.
