Is Resident Evil 6 gonna be on Wii U?

I am seriously waiting for a confirmation on this.:)
Capcom has been publishing the most games nowadays but is also the most quiet about their Wii U plans. So it will be interesting at E3 this year. Hopefully this (RE6) will come as a surprise launch title:)

^This, actually. DO NO BE SURPRISED if Capcom plans:

- Resident Evil 5 Gold Wii U Edition with special tablet and Wiimote controls for Wii U launch in 2012

- In 2013, Resident Evil 6 Wii U Edition comes out a few months after the launch of the other versions, maintaining the special tablet and Wiimote controls from Wii U RE5.

It used to be one of the best, if not the best franchise in gaming industry. Now it's just a normal game without horror, without any jump moments, without Resident Evil spirit, really sad

It was never scary, and has always used jump scares. The only reason people find the older ones scary is because they probably played them when they were 10.

Then what do you consider scary?
There is only so much you can do behind a tv screen.

In terms of entertainment, like movies, books or video games, nothing. They can make good suspense builders, but nothing actively makes me jump out of my seat, scream at the TV, or go "Holy sh**!", and crap my pants.

Resident Evil/Silent Hill can both create good suspense, to where you are waiting anxiously for something to pop out, or for something crazy to happen, especially with their music, but none of that is scary.

But RE sucks now.

...Seems like the Wii missed out on a lot of 3rd Party games that when they finally have come to Wii U, the series will be considered to have declined (FF, MGS, etc )

What's to say really?

Old RE's had piss poor controls. Okay it was scary for a PS1 game, but RE4 had good gameplay. Not to mention the village level which is imo one of the most well crafted levels in all of gaming.

And MGS hasn't really declined. Peace Walker was a great game, and MGS4 well that's debatable but it was damn successful critically and commercially
