The Wii U isn't a Wii, it's not focusing on Motion control like the Wii did, the main controller for the Wii U is the Gamepad, than the secondary is the Pro Controller than it is the Wiimote.

So then its pointless to get the Wii U....if Im looking to play games with the motion sensor Wii type of gameplay?

The Wiimote is compatible with the Wii U. It is also fully BC with the Wii, so you can get your motion gaming fix from there.

The gamepad is also motion-sensitive, and we don't know what the console comes with. TC isn't very well informed, is he?

Because the "innovative" Wiimote that was supposed to be the "future of gaming", was actually just a gimmick, like I told you people 6 years ago. Now that the fad is over, Nintendo is using another "innovative" gimmick, the tablet controller, which will be totally abandonned in a few years, to make space for the next gimmick.

We don't know what the system comes with, but it would make logical sense for Nintendo to include a Wiimote with every system.
