Will you need a Wii Remote to play Wii U games?

lame as hell. i dont want to have to buy a wii u screen controller, a wii remote, and a classic controller just to enjoy games.

The "wii u screen controller" will come packed-in. The Wii Remote might get packed-in or be bundled with a game that requires it (Nintendoland). The classic controller is no longer required.

What I wonder is if the GamePad/Pro Controller can emulate a Classic Controller Pro (i.e. trick a Wii game into thinking it is a Classic Controller plugged into a remote).
