Wii U

So as most of you hopefully know, F-Zero GX is the greatest racing game of all time. What it really badly needs is a port so more gamers can appreciate it. The perfect platform for this would be the Wii U.

Graphics are already amazing, but in HD they would look spectacular.

Like 80 songs or something, so I think that's covered.

They should add a WX cup, with 5 brand new courses, and maybe new characters.

Story mode with possibly different characters with overlapping stories (ala GP Legend)

They could enable driving with the gamepad as a steering wheel.

Best of all, they MUST DEFINITELY include online. Nintendo wants to show they are stepping it up online? A hardcore racing game like this is the best place to start.

60 fps with 30 racers (not sure if the Wii U is powerful enough for that, but anyway), many modes for finding people of the right skill level, a battle mode, leaderboards, the works.

It would be....the best thing ever.

On a side note, how come troll topics on this board get so many posts? Look at the username, and the amount of posts become obvious.

Count the number of times the word even gets muttered in a thread, and you'll know exactly why they get so many posts. Most of you are kids, acting like kids, who can't wait to place labels on each other. It's as simple as that.

(I'm not even going to bother pointing out when it isn't being used correctly anymore... posters are too f***ing stupid to consider ever being wrong, or even misguided, lol...)

Oh, and I love it. F Zero would be a must-own on the Wii U for me.

This pretty much seems like a better idea than a new title. F-Zero GX was perfect barring a few things they could add in as extras. Plus, if they remake it, they can't change core mechanics or dumb it down for a wider audience. I want F-Zero online, I want it in HD, and I want it to be hard as motherf***ing nails.

I want the TV to be the normal trailing camera, and the GamePad screen to be a dedicated cockpit view. No intention of having you look back and forth, just both views for however you prefer to look at the action.

Also, if you select gyro controls for the GamePad, the cockpit doesn't tilt in relation to the screen but the world outside does. So as you tilt the controller, the world outside the cockpit stays level with IRL.

Besides that, I honestly think adding to this game would do better than making a new one, which, let's face it, will likely be inferior. Glad to see people agree.
