People will buy new Nintendo consoles for Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Metroid, etc. and Microsoft's and Sony's IPs won't ever been as powerful as those.

But if we go by sales.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_best-selling_video_game_franchises Nintendo has the top 4 spots. Halo is much farther down on the list and Kinect Sports isn't even on there at all. |
