Epic Mickey 2: Wii or Wii U

#1blangloisPosted 9/13/2012 8:36:21 AM
I was kind of expecting Epic Mickey 2 to be announced for Wii U since it is also on 360 and PS3, but Warren Spector has been talking up the Wii version and it is the only one being made by Junction Point (the others are all subbed out for porting, even the Wii U version). Does this worry anyone? I mean, besides the HD graphics, what will be better about it? Should I make Epic Mickey 2 my last great Wii game, or my first Wii U adventure?

I want to know the differences between the Wii and Wii U version. I hope it's not just a graphical upgrade.

It is probably just a port of the ps3/360 versions. If you plan to get a Wii U and want Epic Mickey 2, there is no reason to get the inferior version.

Which are ports of the Wii version!

Might as well get the Wii U version.

I'm not so sure which will be superior though. The Wii vesrion is the only one made by Junction Point. The PS3 and 360 are being done by Blitz games, and the Wii U one by Heavy Iron. I'm not so concened with graphics and all that, I'm just worried that the ports won't be up to snuff.

If the Wii U version supports Wii Remotes, I'll go for that. If not, I'll stick with the Wii version.

I highly doubt they would release an inferior version for Wii U, otherwise they'd just release the Wii version since the Wii U has BC.

It'll probably have some extras for the gamepad as well.

I dunno why you wouldn't get it on WiiU. IF Pikmin 3 supports Wiimote+Nunchuk and so does Black Ops 2, then it doesn't make any sense that the WiiU EM2 WOULDN'T support the same control scheme seeing as the Wii is the primary development platform for the game to begin with.
