I just wanted to point this out for those that missed it or did not see the conference.

The Deluxe Edition will apparently include membership to a premium service that offers "rewards" for digital purchases such as DLC. It's now confirmed on nintendo.com

Just a friendly FYI. Hopefully I didn't miss another topic stating this, if so sorry for the spam.

So they're doing a PS+ like service. Neat.

No, John, unfortunately we don't have a code for "There's a man in my closet with a gun to my daughter's head." Although we obviously should.

I'm still not sure on which to get. Cash is tight right now. But the deluxe package seems to be the better option.

Although with Pikmin 3 in the launch window, that's around $410..

The Deluxe Edition simply give you the Digital Deluxe Promotion which is discounts on future eShop software based on past purchases. That's it.

Hmm. If I were to buy at launch, I'd stick with the basic model.

And also nintendoland, 24GB more internal storage and a stand for your Wii U controller.

I was simply referring to what people keep spouting out as a 'Premium Service' is simply a small discount via eShop points based on what you've bought. It's not some premium service with any other benefits - at least from what they've disclosed up til now.
