Yes.

The figured that since almost everyone and their grandmothers has a Wii, they don't need to make another bundle with a Wiimote.

I don't think that is right...it is a way of keeping costs down.

It doesn't make sense to bundle a game and not be able to play it. It is like including Duck Hunt but no zapper.
