So do we know what we can use for additional storage? SD cards? External hard drives? I heard the later and expect the formal at least.

Yep, Nintendo was smart on making it compaitble with any kind of SD and external HD
they wont force you to buy overpriced custom made memory cards, aheemm looks at other companies <_<

Do we know if it will use standard USB hard drives or some dumb Nintendo standard?

And is that cradle a "charge" cradle? Can the standard owners charge the Gamepad?

WOW, if we really can use any external USB hard drive, then YAY Nintendo! Impressed, makes me feel better about the price!

Oh and I found info on the cradle, it does charge the Gamepad. No info on how those without it charge their Gamepad.
