On the one side, it is fully compatible with component and composite cables, you likely have one already, and if you don't it will cost you maybe $5 to pick one up, but it's just *SO RUDE* that they're not giving you another one!

Sure, you can blame Nintendo on not packing in the old cables, but why not everybody else that did it for the past 70+ years. You know. The majority of the markets everywhere. But i will agree. This topic hardly has merit when the solution is so cheap and simple.

That point would hold water if Standard Definition was dead, given how pretty much every form of media still caters to it and Nintendo wanted to be that special snowflake that didn't it's clearly still alive, fading, but nowhere near dead. |
