Can you play all Wii U games on gamepad?

I'm kind of questioning with this because mainly of Zombie U. In the trailers it has you using the tv and the gamepad at the same time for gameplay.

Also do you think we'll be able to play VC games on the gamepad as well?

Developer has to implement it in their game so no, not necessarily.
I'm assuming you won't be able to with ZombiU

This is a good question. I have also wondered if you can stream Wii games to the controller.

I am sorry I cannot give you a definite answer and even added a question.

I think games that will not make much use of the touchscreen features in gameplay/controlscheme will have little reason not to include this option. Games that rely heavily on the combiation of tv+gamepad-screen will likely be more difficult to put on the controller screen alone.

That said, Mass Effect 3, Call of Duty BLOPS2 and i presume New SMB-U, will have this feature.

Nintendo has stated you CANNOT play VC games on the GamePad. They also confirmed a Wii Mode to play Wii games.

Due to the nature of the GamePad, and that many developers are excited for it, I would assume they will all have GamePad functionality. However, to play on the GamePad solely and not the TV will dependent on each game and what the developers choose.

If Nintendo has stated you CANNOT play VC games on the GamePad without tv, just a thought what if most or all new WII U games are VC games then you wouldn't be able to play any games on the WII U controller alone, that would kinda go against Nintendo promotion of the controller that you can play games on the controller without the tv... So I think there are going be a big number of games that come out that you can't play solo on the WII U controller...

As i stated, I read somewhere on neogaf, that it would be possible in COD: BLOPS2.
