Nintendo are you tell me that nintendoland doesn't look like a wii game. Look me in the eye when im talking to you nintendo! Mario bros u looks like a wii game too. Put some effort in your games looks whats the point of having a better machine if their first party games still look exactly the same! I want to see them look different and next gen.

It's an artistic choice. It's also a commercial choice. By doing this, they give moms and dads, small children and grandparents the confidence this is a game even they could be able to play.

Further more, Nintendoland has amazing lighting in some cases (haven't seen all the games). Stuff surely not possible on Wii.

Wonderful grammar.

Look what happened last time a company decided to make a huge graphical leap, they lost billions.

Don't expect massive gains on that end next generation from any company. Maybe we finally can get back to the fun, experience and gameplay of games, not how they look.

Thank you for sharing your valued opinion. After long consideration we've decided to make our latest Super Mario Bros game full HD and we pushed the technology of the Wii U to its limits.

Sincerely,

NINTENDO

PS3 launch games didn't "take advantage" of the PS3 hardware. So, Sony was ridiculously lazy, right?

That picture shall haunt my nightmares.

And Nintendo has yet to show a game that is a graphical showcase. Wait for Monolith, Retro, or the next Zelda for a true showcase from Nintendo. Third Parties are doing a fine job for the launch window.
