No they are upset because they must now fork over $360 to play ONE game. They shouldnt be rioting in the streets or anything but if you cannot see how this could upset certain people (particularly those who cant afford a wii u) I don't know what else to say to you.

Wrong. A real fan would be happy to be able to play the sequel. I don't think most Bayonetta fans want to buy a Wii U just for one game.

I also still want to know how selling almost 2 million copies for a new IP is selling horribly. Devil May Cry 4 sold under 3 million and it is an established series.

DMC 4 sold terribly. The latest Megamans (Megamen?) sold terribly as well and are established series too.

Because the game is actually even coming out there is the opportunity to actually play the game now. If Nintendo hadn't decided to fund it then no one would be able to play it. If someone is so anti Nintendo that they refuse to ever buy the Wii U then I don't consider them much of a fan of the game. There is nothing that says you have to buy the Wii U right away. They could wait until the price drops a bit and get it later to play the game. Plus I would find it extremely hard to believe that someone couldn't find a few other games that eventually release for the system that they would have an interest in.

It almost wasn't though. It's only because Sega decided to port it over to the PS3 that that version even exists. Platinum was going to keep it 360 exclusive.

They are fans of the game. Of course they are mad. Just like Metroid fans would be mad at Nintendo selling Metroid rights to Sony because Nintendo wanted to make money.

If Nintendo was that a********* to not fund another Metroid game, I'd live with it. It's not Nintendo's fault, it's the fault of Sony and Microsoft for letting the project die. If there's anyone the fans should blame, it's them.

Time to prove why they have yet to give a valid reason to be upset.
1. Without Nintendo there would be no Bayonetta 2
2. Bayonetta 2 is a next gen game, if not on Wii U, then PS4/720. So the $360 or $410 argument is stupid. They wouldn't complain if it was on PS4/720(And Likely more expensive)
3. Do you honestly think Platinum didn't go to Sony or M$ first? They most likely wanted to own the IP rather than work with Platinum and Sega.
4. If they were real fans they wouldn't complain and boycott it like idiots. Seriously, would they rather have a new game or no game? And people say Nintendo fans are children.

I will likely refute any other thing they say.
