Like for example the Playstation 3 original 60Gb model can play ANY Playstation 2 and Playstation games, the Wii can play Gamecube games.

But Gamecube games were never released on the Wii for Virtual Console downloads? But a couple Nintendo 64 were, I guess next they will add Gamecube games too for download, thanks.

It cannot play gamecube disks.

You might be able to download virtual console gamecube games, but that's it.
