New legal documents show that Sony is currently in the process of suing Jerry Lambert, aka Kevin Butler, for the Bridgestone Wii commercial. Sony is taking legal action against Bridgestone and Wildcat Creek, whose president is none other than Jerry Lambert. The end result of the proceedings could see the end of Jerry Lambertís advertising career.

Sony = Jackasses.

I hope Kevin Butler (Lambert), never does a single ad for them again.

He should do Nintendo ads after this.

Jerry Lambert (Kevin Butler) is one of the worst people in the gaming industry.

If Jerry had a clause in his contract about advertising another gaming company, then Sony has every right to sue him

Why? If they had a contract with him then this is well within their rights...

They have no legal right. It is called free speech. Unless he is in breach of contract, they can do nothing. I love Sony but this is ridiculous.

He's under a legal contract. He broke it by doing a commercial that also advertised a competitors product. If people could advertise a competitors product without legal action, companies would be paying top dollar to steal competitors spokespersons. Basically, it would be end of using people as mascots behind an ad campaign

Technically, he is not advertising a Nintendo product, but instead bridgestone and a bridgestone promotion. Not a Nintendo thing
