Are you posing this out of curiosity or are you posting this because its an article?

I'm posting it because it can promote discussion.

... "among people whose faces don't smell like Nintendo's crotch" is the end of that statement. ;D

Some very valid points raised, many of which describe why I've been on the fence about getting one too.

Outside of the Vita, I can't name a single console that had a top notch launch. This is obviously just speaking for myself here, but it never looked like a good idea to buy something at launch at any time. Prices always drop and improvements on the console are made over he course of its lifetime. Not to mention later buyers have access to a much better library.

Of course I'm not gonna say that buying a console on launch isn't without positives. Those who do so already know what those bonuses are. For those who want expansive libraries and hate purchasing consoles for single games, buying on launch has always been iffy.

Now I mentioned the Vita as having a successful launch because a ton of games came right out the box. A...real shame about where it stands now though.

I'm getting it because it will have games I like. That's what it has to offer me.

What a rebel you are.

Sounds like solid reasoning to me, not everybody blindly follows the tide of forum trolls or goes for maximum e-peen in their console purchases. Pop open those bedroom/basement/attic curtains once in a while man.

The answer is no.

See that wasn't so hard

Next time just do what I say earlier and save yourself the hassle of going through all this :)

Ok then, show me some proof that you have at least SOME positivity for the Wii U.
