I got a question about playing on the screen on controller.

I'll try to be simple here.

The main family room is where I watch tv the most and I play video games on my superior tv in the other room. The "family tv" is 32' and is losing its color + its 10+ years old so I play video games on the other tv which has hdmi outlets.

Can I have everything hooked up on my tv and then turn on the wii u for w/e game, then bring the controller in the "family room" and watch football on the bad tv while playing wii u games while looking at the controller screen?

I'm not sure I understand how this all works.

The Wii U Gamepad will be optimal if it's 24 feet away from the console, if you go further than that the video signal will get worse.

Being able to play without the TV will depend on the game, not all games will be able to do that.

No, its 8 meters. 24 feet.
