Disney Interactive has confirmed some disappointing news. Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two won’t have “TV off” support, so you won’t be able to play the game using only the gamepad’s screen.

Also confirmed is that the Wii remote and nunchuk support will only work with multiplayer mode, not single player. Even on multiplayer mode, one player will still be forced to use the gamepad.

The developers’ excuse is that they simply don’t have enough time to add support for these features.

Not enough time? I hope all of these launch window wii u games aren't rushed at the expense of quality. A couple of them are already looking this way...

Then delay the game. Eh, whatever. Plenty of people might still consider the game good.

What other WiiU launch titles look rushed?

It's an advertised feature that is not properly being fleshed out, there is room for discussion for this.

I'm fairly certain most games over the course of the console won't use this feature, as they would have to dumb down the game and lose processing power in order to stream.

Rehash =! Rushed. The game is finished with all features they wanted to include already in it. And they had over two years of development time.

And most games look pretty bad, as developers try to unlock more power for their games this is a feature that will be cast aside.
